Rozana at the European Radio Exhibition and Conference in Paris

Rozana Radio, represented by its Executive Director Lina al-Shawaf, has participated in the European Radio Exhibition and Conference held in Paris, France, from 25 to 27 January 2018.
 
During a roundtable, which took place on the occasion of the exhibition on Saturday January 27, Rozana Media Foundation, Nissa Radio from Palestine, and Hirondelle the Swiss foundation discussed the most important challenges facing the post-revolution and conflict media. The roundtable tackled the challenges that Rozana Radio is currently facing as a media outlet which represents people’s voice and which has been found for the freedom of media and expression. It also discussed the extent to which this media outlet can be sustained through commercial advertising promotion.

The meeting also examined ways to preserve the credibility of Rozana as a media outlet which relies on the citizens journalists who are deployed inside Syria as a source of information, in addition to the difficulties facing the delivery of information via the Internet from inside Syria.
