Women Work Because Men Are Locked in War!

Educational sessions in Damascus, calling for the empowerment of Syrian women. Titles in other courses say that Syrian women today is empowered now to lead Syria more than ever.

Today's role in the "Syrian crisis" is for women because men are busy in the war.

Syrian women can make peace, so they must be empowered.

Jozour organization is behind all these posters, courses, and logos.

"We have established the Syrian Center for women's issues, but our work has become more efficient with the help of Roots Organization." says one of the center’s cadres.

"Jozour is a Syrian independent organization started working in Damascus in 2012 concerned with building the capacity of Syrian civil society organizations." says Ruba Ghanem, the Executive Director of Jozour, in an interview with the program (In The Scale).

What is Jozour? And why now?

"The first threshold to build a lasting peace, is the existence of an active civil society, so even if many people objected to the process, or put obstacles, Jozour Organization will do its part, during the crisis and tomorrow when the fighting stops." says Ghanem.

Jozour works in all areas that can be accessed, including the refugee camps.
