Despite exceeding 100 years old, "Mrs. Dallah Arabs" had to pass the asylum trip, until she settled in the Syrian refugee camp " Suleyman Shah", south of Turkey.
Dallah was born in the town of "Muhasan" in the Syrian province Deir al-Zour, in 1910, she says she could not study because of the circumstances at that time. So she married and gave birth to three children, after that her husband died and she devoted herself to bring them up.
The old lady asserts that they used to eat from her land crop, and to drink milk produced by her own cow.
In her interview with Rozana, she talked about the period of the French occupation of Syria, and comparing the French soldiers to the soldiers of the Syrian regime’s army, explaining: "We have not seen the refugees’ camps except during the rule of Bashar Assad."

She has 25 grandchildren and granddaughter, some of them have married and became fathers and mothers, and despite her old age, and the difficulties of life in Suleyman Shah camp, she only needs simple help in going to the bathroom, because of the weakness in her eyesight.
Her son's wife said: "Grandma doesn’t take any medication and doesn’t visit doctors, and she does not suffer from hypertension or diabetes."
She lived a difficult experience in Syria, she has moved from Homs to Deir al-Zour, and then fled due to the fighting there toward north Syrian, until they reached "Suleyman Shah" camp, and settled there.
However, she is still committed to the ritual of worship, and spend about half an hour in each prayer, she also fasts two days a week!
