"Take Their News From Their Little Ones"!

Reports | 25 05 2020

The popular saying goes: "Take their news from their little ones" There is no truer than children to tell you about the ongoing massacre in their country five years ago, away from the politicians’ bombast, and the public of both sides, Syrian children in the streets of Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt, as well as the streets of Syrian cities, Not to mention the tens or even hundreds of children who either swallowed by the sea or disappeared in mysterious circumstances.

Children spread in the streets not to play, but to beg or sell flowers, tissue, paper, and other things, recently one of the news stations published a report on Syrian child labor, it was remarkable that a number of them want to become a pilot in order to fly away, and one of them said that the bird wing is not strong enough and must have feathers, and I want  strong wings such as the plane.

These wishes reflect the state of anxiety and instability and the desire for redemption from a painful reality imposed on them through the toughest five years in Syria’s history.

Are all the parties aware of this disaster?! Or are they too busy counting their victories and military tactical and gains?! A whole generation without schools, or shelter, without protection, and many children are being sexually exploited unsanctioned!

The great ordeal is not in the destruction of the stones, but in the destruction of human beings, the souls that were destroyed and are suffering from chronic mental illness, Is there a harsher than a child who do not find anyone to protect him?  or give him a helping hand?

The  expensive life prevented parents from sending their children to school, where the percentage of  the Syrian students who drop out of schools is 45%, those children who were supposed to build the future are now without future.

The event of  arresting fifteen children in Daraa in 2011, after writing phrases calling for toppling the regime was one of the most important direct causes for the start of the Revolution of Dignity, but now Thousands of children are without dignity.

A report issued by the United Nations in 2014 on the impact of war on children in Syria said: "the continuation of the war is threatening the future of 5.5 million Syrian children, and all of them are in need of humanitarian aid, 4.3 million children of them are inside Syria, 1.2 million children are refugees, and other sources point to the death of nearly 4,300 children, the displacement of about 2 million children and nearly a million children remained under siege and all of them lack the minimum humanitarian and health services, medical care, and worse, all of them are deprived of education."

Doctors point to the high number of children suffering from malnutrition, pneumonia, and diarrhea. Because the rates of vaccination according to the UNICEF report, have fallen from 99% before the crisis to 52% in 2012 as well as the increased number of Leishmania infections."

In the same year in which the study was  issued, 15 children died and 60 of them were  rescued, after a measles vaccination campaign in Idleb province, controlled by the opposition, they died as a result of corruption and disregard for the lives of children in the use of the vaccine in a fatal manner, and what increased the tragedy that the Syrian Opposition coalition administrative only got rid of those who were responsible for the accident, among them the  Minister of Health in the Syrian interim government and head of the support unit coordinate Suheir Atassi who recently return to the delegation of the Supreme Commission for negotiations, and the case was closed under the pretext that the mother of all battles is against the Syrian regime.

in 2011, many invitations to not send the students to school were launched, and the invitation was titled: "Do not study or teach until the president go". And videos  were recorded to children who left the Baath Vanguards Organization, and other children appear in a video saying that he left the schools of the regime forever.

Despite that the demonstrations were targeted by the police and security forces’ fire, but still people bring the children to participate in it, and many "Syrian intellectuals" were defending that arguing that their exit is a necessity, despite the risks, they justify and bless any work without regard to the consequences of severe under the pretext of supporting the revolution and keep pace with the street.

In many dangerous cases we did not find anyone criticizing the mistakes and pitfalls out of fear to be thought that they are against the revolution, and of course, maybe the institutions of civil and political opposition were supposed to be on a level of responsibility, hundreds of children in the streets of Istanbul and Gaziantep, where the Syrian "activists" of Revolution spread also, for example, let us ask: has one of them think about distributing food in Ramadan? did a delegation from the official opposition organizations went to the camps in Lebanon, Jordan or Turkey, and met the refugees on Ifttar in Ramadan?

Many funds were dedicated to children and their families in the camps, entered into many pockets, who is going to ask them about the money? No one will.

It is not enough to say I am against the Syrian regime, and then only speak and just talk, sense of responsibility does not need an application or recommendation, and should not blame only the regime to evade responsibility.. Those all are the Children of Syria and its stolen future, Why did we do to help them?

Someone say: "Give me the money that was spent in all wars and I will dress the world's children by kings’ dress."

In Syria, what couldn’t be destroyed by corruption, the  war was able to destruct it, according to a study conducted by the "Frontier Economics' Centre for Australian Consulting Foundation, "World Vision" charity, that Syria war losses could exceed a trillion dollars, without being aware of the great disaster experienced by the Syrians day after day amid slogans ate everything and everybody forgot Children of Syria.
