Hanan, a teacher from the town Otaiba in the eastern Ghouta Rural Damascus, went to visit her husband in his detention in a Syrian regime prison, and fell into a trap, she was not aware of.
It seems that Hanan did not know what was being plotted for her in the beginning, where she has been allowed to go out of besieged Ghouta by the security branch (251), in order to see her husband, and when she met him she was stunned because of his appearance, where many signs of torture were on his body, but Hanan had to act in front of him as a powerful woman that can assume her responsibilities.
After the visit, it was not allowed to Hanan out, and she lived the details of torture behind bars, before she was released according to an exchange deal between the regime and opposition forces.
