A high-level delegation from the United Nations visited the headquarters of "Rozana" radio in Turkey, on Wednesday, and met with the staff working there.
The delegation was headed by President of the General Assembly of the United Nations, "Mogens Lykketoft" and his assistants "Thomas Anker Christiansen" and "Ole Ostergard". They met the chief editor of Rozana “Lina Shawaf” and the rest of the team in the office, who spoke on the situation of the Syrian media at the current phase.
Lina Shawaf explained the status of the Syrian media currently, and the difficulties facing journalists and media activists, through their work inside and outside Syria.

The high-level delegation included experts in the field of human rights and global diplomats. They visited Rozana particularly among all media Syrian actors in Turkey, during its tour for viewing the Syrians conditions in various fields in Turkey, especially in the refugee camps.
The delegation expressed its solidarity with the Syrians in the face of all the dangers, and inquired about their opinions about UN inside Syria, also Rozana’s staff spoke about their work within the institute.
Rozana tried to convey the Syrian detainees’ voice, especially about what is happening in Hama prison, to the United Nations delegate and the delegation in general.
