Dozens of displaced people were killed and wounded, on Thursday, due to an aerial bombardment targeted (Commune) refugee camp, near the Syrian-Turkish border in the countryside of Idlib.
The activist, Mamoun al-Khatib, said on his Facebook account "Two planes affiliated with the Syrian regime have targeted the camp with four missiles, two of thaem struck inside the camp, causing the death of 30 IDPs in an initial toll, mostly women and children."
He added: "The bombing led to burning dozens of tents, and the flight of most of the displaced people from the camp for fear of recurrence the bombing."
Also a medical source confirmed to ROZANA that the number of victims of the bombing is likely to rise because there are dozens of wounded and missing people and some of the wounded in critical situations."
"Commune" camp is located in the northern city of Idlib, and is inhabited by displaced people mostly from the provinces of Aleppo and Hama, where hundreds of border areas contain many camps because of its distance from the bombing and battles.
