A social worker revealed in a telephone intervew with the Rozana, on Sunday, details on the detention of the Syrian girls who were forced to work as "forced prostitution" by prostitution organization works in the sexual enslavement and trafficking in human beings, in Lebanon.

And about the situation of the girls now, Maya said: “they reside now in centers belong to humanitarian organizations to follow up on their psychological and physical situation and they will be treating each case individually."
Maya added that "girls are subjected in the centers sessions for the process of listening to their stories to build confidence in them because they are in the case of loss of confidence with others," noting that "there will be follow-up psyche by specialists psyches in addition to a legally protection to secure a safe place until they manage their affairs."
Maya noted that "there were women guards, who were guarding the detainees, and the law may deal with them as participants in the crime, but for the humanitarian organizations they are victims like the others, because they have been appointed as guardians because of their inability to satisfy customers and were not able to work as prostitutes."
For the minors among them, Maya said, "the minor is no longer a minor, where it was under 18 when she was detained, now she is reaching the age of 19, and most of the ages of the released girls between nineteen and twenty-seventh."
The Lebanese security forces detected, on Friday, the largest network for trafficking in women for sexual purpose, and rescued 75 girls, most of them are Syrian women who have been subjected to torture and the practice of forced prostitution.
