The UN Children's Fund "UNICEF" announced that the war exposes millions of Syrian children to the encephalic dangers that could affect their growth over the long term and cause them emotional problems.
The organization noted in a report, published on its website, on Thursday, that "86.7 million children in the world under seven ages spent their lives in the conflict areas which exposed their brains’ development to danger."
The report added that "the children brain at that stage is responsible for constructing their future, which will be linked to scenes of horror they experienced all these years, what affects the cognitive, social and physical development in the long term, and expose them to permanent emotional problems."
The organization said earlier, that 3.7 million Syrian children born during the war years, the last five in Syria, noting that 8.4 million children inside and outside the country have been affected by the horrors of war, hunger, fear and poverty and the family problems, including early forced marriages, especially in asylum areas.
