Many Syrians in Europe miss their lives in their country, and continue to hold their memories, photographs and their towns’ details.
Rozana wandered the streets of the Austrian capital Vienna, where many Syrians, “Yaser” for example, who confirmed that he does not forget his city “Latakia”, and his memories in the beachside café shops, he said that he did not find those details in the asylum country.
Despite the financial aid, and stability they get after their residence in Austria, and all the features available including the freedom of movement, still they feel alienation.
"Nour al-din" a Syrian refugee is residing in Vienna, he says that he lacks the sound of the mosques, and the feasts ritual in Syria.
As for Muhammad, he misses his friends in Syria, and the popular cuisine in his hometown “Aleppo”, despite the stability and security he enjoys in Austria.
