Four children had died in the town of Jesrin in the besieged eastern Gota in rural Damascus, after drinking an expired rotten juice.
The four kids, who were displaced to Jesrin from the towns Abada and Hazrama in rural Damascus, have collected the juice cans from the garbage and drunk it, on Monday.
Eyewitnesses reported that someone threw about thirty parcels of expired juice in the landfill in the town, two days ago.
The media office in Jesrin said that a number of children suffered of food poisoning as a result of drinking the expired juice, and they were taken to medical centers, however, some of them have died.
The Media Office indicated that they are working hard to prepare a medical report about toxic substances, and the case was Transmitted to the judiciary in the town.
Jesrin and other towns of eastern Gota in rural Damascus are suffering of the siege imposed by the Syrian regime's army since more than two years, which resulted in a severe shortage of food and medical supplies, in addition to the bad effect on the children there, psychologically and healthy.
