CNN Network Published Controversial information about the next phase of the struggle in Syria, soon the information was reported by various media. US network quoted for “two  Saudis sources, who are familiar with the UK's plans for military exercises," their saying that Saudi Arabia is preparing to train up to 150 thousand troops, within the framework of preparations for a military ground operation in Syria, aims to fight (Islamic state) known as (ISIS).

According to these knowledgeable sources, Arab and Islamic countries will involve in the process, but the Saudi soldiers will constitute the bulk of the participating forces, which are supposed to enter Syria from Turkey.

Several countries has sent its forces to participate in the exercises, that will take place on Saudi territory, including Morocco, Turkey, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Qtr.

Despite the skepticism of many, due to the Saudi involvement in Yemen and focus their efforts in there, but all the data, make the decision of  the intervention of Saudi Arabia, believable, besides its air forces involved in the international coalition led by the United States against "ISIS" since last September.

Apparently, the issue is no longer just a possibility associated achieved at the request of the international coalition, as announced a few days ago, when the Saudi defense minister counselor, expresses his country's readiness to send troops to Syria if the international coalition decided to send ground troops there.

If true, this  step will open  possibilities of implication the neighboring countries in the war, but what is surprising enough,  that the United States and its allies, especially Syria's neighbors, were careful to not fall in this over the past years of war, so why now?

It is clear that the Saudi official's announcement had been welcomed by US, in the words of US Secretary of Defense (Ashton Carter).

Perhaps we should link these information to the massive military exercises in the north of Saudi Arabia,  which will be the first practical expression to the seriousness of the "Islamic military alliance to confront terrorism," which was announced its formation in December last year, led by Saudi Arabia, and was told then that it includes more than thirty countries..

Most importantly, that all this comes just days after the collapse of negotiations of Geneva (3), which ended before it began, and it was supposed to take place between the Syrian regime's representatives and the opposition, to launch a political process under guardianship of UN to end the conflict, in accordance to resolution (2254) of  the Security Council.

That collapse that accompanied and was a result for the vast military operation launched by the Syrian regime and its allies, which have changed the balance of power on the ground and restore the Syrian regime to a number of areas and tighten the ring on the other, especially in the countryside of northern Aleppo, and this is a serious threat to the opposition.

If things continue in this way, the opposition’s loss will not be only the loss of the control on the strategy controlled areas since three years ago, but it may lose the entire war, according to the point of view of the west analysts.

Saudi Arabia intervention will not be only  fighting the "ISIS", but it will be as a way to guide the Syrian war in a specific destination, and therefore  it will not be a long time before they find themselves in direct confrontation with the regime's army and his Russians and the Iranians allies, and perhaps also with the Kurds.

Iranian commanders were quick to launch threats to Saudi Arabia's statements in the event of intervention, which is repeated by the regime’s minister (Walid Muallem). The start of operations from Turkey, or the participation of its troops in as a member of the "Islamic Alliance," will put it sooner or later, in a direct confrontation with Russia, which does not stop the escalation towards Turkey, which will necessitate the NATO intervention to support the most important member in the against Russia, which is a traditional opponent of the alliance.

The experience of the five years of the war, affirming the lack of seriousness of Mr. US until this moment to end this disaster is not peacefully nor by a war.

Although recent developments mean, in the mean while, prolonging the conflict, more than expected, which will exacerbate the tragedy of the Syrian people, and moving forward towards creating a less secure and more terrorism world.
