Poll of Deir Ezzor Residents
The sample is composed of 60 people, including women and men over the age of 18. 55% of them bears the responsibility for the poor living conditions in the besieged areas in Deir Ezzor to Daesh Organization(ISIS), while 45% Believe that the Syrian regime is responsible.
Comparing the item prices in Deir Ezzor and Damascus, showes the huge difference in prices. The regime’s airforce transports goods by air from Qamishli and Damascus to the Deir Ezzor military airport, Via Ilyushin transport planes, and warplanes.
After the goods arrive to the Deir Ezzor military airport, they are transported via trucks to the east of al-Assad Hospital, where they are distributed by Syrian regime army soldiers, inside the besieged neighborhoods.
The sample also showes that 77% of resdents prefer to exit Deir Ezzor, while 23% refuse to leave.
