Five days following a rocket hit of his home in the eastern Ghuta in the Damascus countryside, Ibrahim returned to consciousness, to find himself in a field hospital wherein he knew absolutely no one.
Three weeks later, and by complete coincidence, the child recognized his uncle, who came in to receive the body of his dead son from the hospital. When he came out of the hospital, he later learned of the deaths of his mother and his brothers.
Ibrahim is currently living in Jordan, being treated of fractures he suffered. Nevertheless, he still dreams of a better future, and working toward it; through striving to complete his studies. He now is in the seventh grade of school.
