Did Syrians Transfer Their Problems to Europe?

Reports | 25 05 2020

Until the end of 2014, number of Syrians in Sweden has reached about 36 thousand since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, and in just a week during this month around 5 thousand refugees have arrived in Sweden, 40% of them are Syrians according to Imad Azouz, the Director of the Swedish Syrian Center. While 150 thousand Syrians have arrived in Germany since the beginning of the crisis, according to Petra Baker the German researcher in the Middle East and North Africa affairs.

Europe is now a destination for refugees, and Syrians are considered the best among the refugees who arrived in Sweden in terms of potentials and skills, according to what the director of the Swedish Syrian Center said.

Western newspapers have talked about the news of a brawl between Syrians and Africans, what led to German police intervention. And the report of the incident says that part of the men has been taken to the hospital, and part of them has been taken to the police station.

There is other news about 3 men assaulted on a Swedish man in Sweden, it turned out that all of them are Syrians.

Problems happen between refugees, because they live together in camps amid the forests, and away from the cities that they are dreaming of, because the procedures of residency and family reunion take a long time.

Besides the refugees are different socially and politically, all of this consolidates tension between the refugees, as Azouz says.

The refugees suffer many difficulties before settling in a city, the city that needs to reproduce their personalities and dreams again.
