Um Ahmad decided to face reality. She refused to accept that there simply is no hope of healing her son of his autism and physical disabilities; she, therefore, studied this disease and identified its known treatments through electronic medical books and courses.
Despite being married at a young age, and not having completed her education; this Syrian woman was successful in the treatment of her son. She continued to work in helping children with autism, in Jordan.
Her arduous life experience has graced Umm Ahmad with patience and defiance, she says. It has taught her to stand firmly and face the obstacles of life; and her values have also been transmitted to her son Ahmad and his brothers as well.
