A mother of five, was forced to remain in the city of Aleppo—despite the harsh wartime conditions that affect children more than others; and appear to prompt aggressive behavior; as they become vulnerable to permanent depression, fear and, at times even speech impediments.
Omar, a schoolboy in Aleppo on the other hand, suffers from the loss of his father who was wounded in front of his eyes. He is unable to forget the details of that day.
In Aleppo, the situation is not merely confined to the bombing. The city has witnessed several executions, in full sight of both parents and children. The Ghirass [Planting] Childcare Foundation has moved swiftly to try and cope with such issues; considering such acts as crimes against children, as well as the potential cause of psychological complexes that they may develop in the future, and spoil their lives.
