Abu Abdullah returned to his home in the Idlib countryside, only to be surprised that it turned into a heap of stones. After questioning other people from the village, he learned that there had been a direct air strike on his and other homes; thus making the place uninhabitable.
The man had been a resident of the Harasta neighborhood in Damascus, wherefrom he fled after fighting also broke out there. He became a refugee of the Otma camp since a year and a half, with his nine children.
Abu Abdullah has two children, handicapped by their gland disease and in need of urgent surgical intervention. He says: "We lead a miserable life. We have only one tent, hosting all the family members."
Abu Abdullah is perplexed about what to do, how to secure his childrens' daily bread, and how can he continue living with one kidney? And how are his children coping?
