The Rapid Response Team, is one of the innovative solutions Aleppo's medical workers came up with, to attempt to counter the effects of the incessant bombardment that has become part of the stricken city's—and its countryside's—daily life.
This system covers the areas controlled by the opposition, ensures immediate presence in places coming under bombardment, and deals with injuries that are immediately evacuated.
Abu Ahmad, Director of the Rapid Response Unit in Aleppo, confirms to Rozana that their work is purely humanitarian, with no affiliation to any military faction. He also added that this system covers the city of Aleppo, as well as its northern and western countryside.

The system does, however, suffer from a shortage of doctors and nurses. it diligently attempts to train medical cadres, through a variety of courses in different areas and situations they may face, while tending to the wounded.
