Abu Maher, living in Turkey, has numerous stories to tell of the exploitation some Syrians inflict upon their compatriots, exploiting their need to seek asylum. But he believes that the biggest catastrophe, lies in the opening of employment agencies whose ostensible function is finding employment for Syrians, whereas their true function is nothing more than serving as creative methods of embezzlement and fraud.
Anas, one of many Syrians who have suffered from abuse since his entry into Turkish territory, believes that lying is prevalent among a large number of Syrians. It is precisely this that is the most disturbing, as he puts it.
