Khaled left his native Latakia, and joined a Free Syrian Army [FSA] factions. He found himself obliged to support his family in Turkey, however. He thus left and traveled far from the fighting, war, and bombing.
In Turkey, the man sold his and his wife's savings in Syria to purchase a small car. He now works in the transport of Syrians from the town of Yildag in southern Turkey, to the Syrian border.
Khalid is not thinking of returning to the FSA now. He is his family's only breadwinner, and is works to provide for his children's education, as well as helping Syrians in this Turkish city.
