An activity for the children of the Syrian capital Damacus' southern districts and neighborhoods was organized recently by the association "A Spring’s Revolution," on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, under the title "let’s paint a smile on our children’s faces."

One of the young organizers of this event, Walid Agha, told Rozana that "this is a personal initiative of the association’s members, aiming to entertain children through friendly competitions, distribution of gifts, as well as a cartoons and movie show."

He added that the campaign will continue during the four days of Eid in the neighborhoods of “al-Qadam, al-Tadamun, Asali, Yalda and Beit Sahem."

Hundreds of children flocked to attend this event, which continues to visit several Damascene neighborhoods, defying the blockade and the lack of organizers’ resources.
