fermentation, and fungal ecologies. Engaging living organisms, bio-acoustic sound, and culinary traditions, the exhibition navigates the conceptual resonance between biological symbiosis and the Arabic root kh-l-l (imbalance, rupture, and vinegar). Through an evolving, process-based environment of shared food and living materials, the artists bridge diverse diasporic geographies, from Hakka nomadism to regional narratives of displacement, reframing linguistic instability and ecological transformation into generative spaces of memory, adaptation, and cross-cultural kinship
